Casoni Limoncello is made from lemons grown in the Sorrento Peninsula of Italy, according to a recipe that goes back generations. No added color or artificial flavoring is ever used.
Casoni Limoncello is made from the cold infusion of lemon peels in pure alcohol with the addition of sugar and purified water.
Serve ice cold before or after dinner, pour over ice cream, add to fruit salads or in pastries. "Casoni Limoncello has a fresh lemon taste that is like paradiso."

Casoni Limoncello di Sorrento
Standard issue opaque, cloudy lemon juice yellow. Sports a keenly tart lemon fragrance in the first whiffs; after further aeration, the aroma turns on the lemon juice / lemon zest spigot as the bouquet turns enticingly tart / astringent.
Entry is sharply acidic (just as it should be for the category) and intensely lemony (more zest than juice or pulp); the midpalate stage features heightened lemon zest / peel concentration and a real sense of authenticity. Casoni Limoncello concludes wonderfully tart, astringent, and lemony. |
